Jacob's Vault: Collectibles Through the Eyes of a Young Entrepreneur

One of the most unique parts of our business is Jacob's Vault.

Jacob is my 12-year-old son and a passionate collector in his own right. Like many young collectors, he developed an interest in Pokémon cards, Funko Pops, trading cards, and collectibles at an early age. Instead of simply collecting, he wanted to learn the business side of the hobby as well.

Jacob's Vault was created to give him that opportunity.

Within our store, Jacob helps manage the collectible side of the business, focusing on Pokémon cards, Funko Pops, sealed products, trading cards, and collector-focused inventory. He learns valuable lessons about customer service, inventory management, entrepreneurship, and financial responsibility while doing something he genuinely enjoys.

Watching his excitement when new inventory arrives reminds us why collecting is such a rewarding hobby. It's not always about the value of an item. Sometimes it's about the thrill of the hunt and the joy of finding something you've been searching for.
